Meet the Designer...
Bethany Williard, owner and principal designer of Studio 1049, truly believes in a client centered approach to interior design. She prides her full scale interior design services on her innate ability to elevate and encompass her clients’ interior aspirations; taking her client’s initial design ideas and needs and giving them a polished and professional element. A creative-soul at heart, Bethany sees the bigger picture in all of her clients’ spaces and strives to provide them with a cohesive whole house design that gracefully flows from room to room. She would like her clients to think of her as a one stop shop for interior consulting and all of their home design needs. Studio 1049’s goal is to create a beautiful, functional and relevant space.
Bethany’s background in both interior design and visual merchandising give her an advantage when space planning, designing large spaces, and styling. From the very beginning of every project, Bethany makes sure to take careful note of her clients’ lifestyle, aesthetic, and economic realities. Regardless of the scope of the project, Bethany’s attention to detail has enabled her to showcase her originality, as well as blend her clients’ style with a fresh perspective. She understands sentimental attachment and is aware of the sustainability factor as well as the economic advantages that come with reusing, and repurposing family heirlooms.
Bethany’s early experience in retail merchandising and management has honed her skills in project management, problem solving, customer service, and time management. Bethany is able to remain calm under pressure and works with clients to manage the moving pieces in large scale design projects. As a native Pittsburgher and small business owner, Studio 1049 is proud to work alongside a team of skilled tradesmen, craftsmen, and trusted local and national vendors.
When not designing you can find Bethany spending time with family and friends, tackling renovations on her own home, or planning her next travel adventure.
