This young family needed a kitchen that could keep up with all of the coming and going of their active lifestyle. Studio 1049 opened up the kitchen’s floorplan, and updated the space with a complete renovation, including new appliances, wall and island countertops, fixtures, lighting, and an eat-in dining area. New extended cabinetry was added to optimize storage throughout, including the addition of a much-needed pantry. To add visual interest, and better reflect the client’s personal design style found throughout the rest of the home, we utilized a two-tone cabinet palette of calming gray and timeless navy. The cabinetry is accented by classic white marbled quartz, bright brushed gold hardware, and a backsplash of serene cloud gray tile arranged in an eye-catching herringbone pattern to help highlight the pot filler and range hood.
